Deep Sea Collection

The inspiration behind our Deep Sea Collection came from the Mariana Trench and the dark depths of our ocean floors. As you can see from our prints, we have leaned into topographical and geographical inspiration, as we wanted to represent the Tectonic plates that our entire world sits on. 

Tectonic plates collide, connect and adapt. We see this as both a literal and metaphorical representation of humanity and the world around us. 2022 is such an interesting time and the concept of globalisation is no longer a new and exciting thing. 

The Mariana Trench is located in the Western Pacific Ocean and is considered to be home to some of the oldest seafloor in the world; just like Australia is home to the oldest continuing culture in the world. 

As our world continues to collide, connect and adapt we ask that you remember, deep in the darkest parts of our oceans, where it is considered uninhabitable to live, there is an ecosystem that thrives.

Our communities, which are sometimes far-away and forgotten places, in the most remote parts of our beautiful country are just like those flourishing eco-systems tucked away in the Pacific Ocean. 

They exist.
