Rohanee Cox is a Nyulnyul girl who grew up in Broome, Western Australia. Rohanee is an Olympic champion and is the first Indigenous women to represent Australia at the Olympics, in Basketball and bring a medal home. It was at the 2008 Beijing Olympics she was an integral part of The Opals wining a Silver Medal. She has also captained the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) team Townsville Fire. She won a scholarship to the AIS where she where she excelled as one of Australia’s newest talents.
